the Doctrines of Christ

"My doctrines! I maintain no doctrines of my own; what I preach are the doctrines of Christ, and for those I will forfeit my blood, and even think myself happy to suffer for the sake of my Redeemer." - Dominicus (a martyr during the reign of Pope Adrian IV [1154-1159])1

Apparently, my love, you are contending for "other faiths" on your blog. Even though your entire blog is about Christ and the truth of Scripture. So, in the face of much intellectual pursecution, I am so proud of you for holding fast to the word and preaching Christ and Him Crucified as the only means of salvation.

Steph... doc... whichever personality wrote this blog entry... your doing a disservice to your misguided husband and to yourself. You and he are contending for your own faith and your lack thereof. You don't know what persecution is, until you become a Catholic... until then, don't claim to be persecuted.

I say persecution, Michael, because that is what you are doing in your filthy language and terribly evil attitude. This is a mental persecution because obviously, he is not being physically persecuted, which is what you wished upon him, me, my brother, and any Bible-alone believing person when you said, "bring back the inquisition." Do you actually know what happened during that time? Do you know that people were burned alive? Do you that they were tortered for their faith in Christ alone? And you have said, "bring back the inquisition." I cannot begin to fathom the amount of hatred that is in your heart to wish that upon any when God has says, "vengeance is mine." If you have hatred in your heart, you prove that you are not of Christ. That is all that I can say of you. You prove by your sheer hatred alone that you are not truly saved.

I do not hate... but I do not like those that spit upon the Church that Christ established.. I do not like people that try all their lives to decieve others into believing a false faith such as yours. I don't hate, but yes, I have read the inquisition, and I know that people were burned at the stake, it wasn't for them believing in Christ alone, it was for them being Heretics against Christ, just as the Jews would stone a Heretic, so we too punished them. I will stick by what I say, bring back the inquisition, for this world needs a good cleansing of the heretics, adulterers, and sadists.

Wow! You truly are not of Christ. YOu have now made that abundantly clear. I pray that the Lord would soften your heart to see Him. "Vengeance is mine", says the Lord. I know of people who think like you do. People who call for Religious warfare, or religious cleansing, etc. Those who are truly saved do not find themselves in this group. Again, I would pray that you bow your heart before the Lord.

The reason why you are against this, is because you know in your heart that you are wrong and that if this did happen, which it never will with our governments, that you would be on the receiving end, since you are a heretic. I would be very afraid if I was you, but not of the inquisition, I would be afraid of Our Lord.

I am not a hateful person, as I have stated many times before, I am a justice seeker.

Michael - of course we (Jeff, Steph, and myself) would be the targets of a new inquisition and persecution that mirrored those that were present from 1500+ years ago through the 1500s.

I say that I would because the RCC does see me as a heretic, and that's fine with me. My conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot go against my conscience or the Word. Martin Luther said something similar at the diet of Worms, and I stand by that statement.

Also - "I am not a hateful person, as I have stated many times before, I am a justice seeker." I am glad that you said this...for two reasons. First - it is easy to say something, and another to show it (faith/works). Second - I am compiling a list of your written comments on this blog and other posts from your and Danny's blog (cited) so that I can see if your writing is peaceful, loving, gentle, and respectful...or not.
